Scott Ruthstrom was first hired by FDA Services in December 1994 and he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions ranging from customer service, sales, management, and executive leadership. Since being named Chief Operating Officer in November 2010, FDA Services has experienced significant growth in policy count and increased revenue. Scott’s experience and passion working with dentists are important traits as FDA Services embarks on business expansion beyond its native Florida borders beginning summer 2016. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and is married to his lovely wife Shelly, and together they have 5 children.

Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management/Insurance from Florida State University in 2003 and earned her MBA from Florida State University in 2008. She also earned her CAE designation in 2013. She has been with FDA Services for over 14 years first as an Insurance Representative and most recently as Director of Insurance Operations. She loves working with our team of experienced and talented insurance professionals who care so deeply about protecting our dentists’ practices and livelihoods.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Risk Management/Insurance from Florida State University in 2005. He has been with FDA Services as the Director of Sales for the Atlantic Coast since then. Dan came to FDA Services with an insurance background, having been licensed as an insurance agent since 2003. He lives in Wellington, FL and operates the satellite office in that area. He enjoys educating clients regarding various insurance options so they can make appropriate decisions for their needs.

Dennis Head received his Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management / Insurance at Florida State University in 2004. He has been with FDA Services for over 16 years as the Director of Sales for the Central District specializing in the insurance needs for Dentists and their Practices. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sports activities.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University in 2005. He has been with FDA Services for 10 years as an Outside Insurance Representative serving the Miami, Monroe and S. Broward area. He enjoys meeting his clients face to face to better understand their insurance needs and determining which products are most suitable for them.

He joined FDA Services in 2015, and has been in the insurance industry since graduating in 2011. In his free time, he enjoys running marathons, watching football and spending time with his wife and three children.
